Where are you located?

We are located in northern Västmanland and southern Dalarna in Sweden.

160 km / 2 hours north of Stockholm.
 

How do I pay?

Payment is made via invoice which you will receive via email.
 

What are the cancellation policy?
Cancellation 14 days or more before the start date gives 100% refund.

If you cancel less than 14 days before the start date, no deposit will be refunded.

 

There's no date that suits me / it's fully booked.
Is it possible to book a tour outside the dates that is available at your webpage?
We're flexible. Send us a mail and we'll get back to you shortly.

What kind of food will we be eating?
It depends on which tour you have booked.
At our photo hide tours such as the Black grouse lek for example you will get catered food to bring into your hide.
At our Wild wolf adventure we'll cook dinner together over an open fire.
We're happy to serve vegan/vegetarian alternatives and if you're allergic to something please let us know in your booking!
 

Will I get to see any wildlife?

Since it's wild nature we're working with please know that we can never leave any guarantees.
We know our area very well and have many years of experience with the animals in it.
We're constantly working to ensure that the conditions for your tour are the absolute best.

What if it's bad weather?
We never cancel tours due to bad weather, but in extreme weather conditions where it's unsafe to stay outside, we can offer you to change dates on your booked experience.

I want to book a tour with my company/family/friends and we are more than 4 people, is this possible?
Most of our tours we have a maximum number of guests 3 or 4.
Contact us in the contact form if you're a company of more than 4 people.

How do we spend the night?

It varies from tour to tour. We usually spend the night in a tent or photo hide.

For day trips we can highly recommend local b&b’s and hotels.

Will I have to share tent/sleeping space with anyone I don't know?
No, you will not have to share a tent with anyone other than yourself/your own traveling company.
 

What shall I bring and how shall I pack?

When you have booked your trip with us you will receive an email with all the details
you need to know about your particular trip.

It all depends on what season it is and what kind of experience you have booked.

Do I need some prior knowledge?

No, our vision at Nordic Safari Sweden is to inspire and educate people about Swedish nature and its inhabitants.
Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or knowledge.
 

Can I bring my children?

Most of our tours are suitable for children from 12 years and up due to the fact that they take place during dusk and dawn,
include overnight stays and hikes, which can be a bit wearing for younger children.
